  • Eraser. Large ones you can agree in your hand do a much better job than just the pencil tips.
  • Black Sharpie Marker. These fine point permanent marker pens make prissy black outlines, have a good tip for coloring, and never bleed when they get wet. Use them with adept ventilation and add extra paper underneath to protect your tables.
  • Prang Crayons. These are a bit softer than other crayons so they sometimes look similar oil pastels. They also have a some nice chocolate-brown shades that Crayola does not have unless you purchase their larger boxes.
  • Crayola Crayons. The reliable brand that ever works well. The 24 pack has some of my favorite gilt orangish and yellow colors that seem a bit richer and warmer than the ones Prang has.

  1. Draw an oval for the abdomen.

  3. Connect the 2 with a cervix.

  4. Erase grey lines and add face and ear

  5. Erase, draw the mane behind the ear.

  6. Add back ear and 2 legs.

  7. Erase lines, add together tail and two more legs.

  8. Add a footing, flower and sky.

  9. Trace with a marker and color.
